This is a beautiful lot in a nice area, with spectacular views of the Greenhorn Mountain. There are other houses nearby, but not so near as to be crowded. This is a quiet area, far enough from town to be comfortable but close enough to be convenient. The property is about a ten-minute drive to Interstate 25, thirty minutes to Pueblo, and just over an hour to Colorado Springs.

There are plenty of recreational opportunities nearby: the Hollydot Golf Course in Colorado City, Lake Beckwith Reservoir, and the San Isabel National Forest. Ski areas are about three hours away. Also, the Cuchara Mountain Park, only an hour away, is open for snow sports and should have a ski lift opening soon.

Lot is flat, has good road access, and is not in a floodplain. Corners are roughly marked with orange fiberglass stakes. (Stakes are not surveyed. They are accurate within a foot or two and are present to give you an idea of the size and shape of the property.)

-Water options: Water main is about 250 feet west at the intersection of Terlesa Dr and Lagrima De Oro St. Wells have been drilled in the area. Hauling water is also an option: the Colorado City Metropolitan District sells water at standpipe which can be hauled in a tank to a cistern for a house. You could buy your own tank or pay someone to haul your water.
Electricity: San Isabel Electric services the area. There are east-west running power lines on the opposite side of Terlesa Dr and there are north-south running power lines about 100 yards to the west that cross Terlesa Dr near the intersection with Lagrima De Oro St.
Telephone: cable is present at the property line.
