This property is zoned Estate Residential, but you are allowed to camp here for 14 days every 3 months without a permit. Any home you build will need to be at least 600 square feet in size, and a wide variety of homes are allowed. There is no time limit to build. A septic system and a permanent water source need to be installed prior to building.

The water source would be by well or a cistern utilizing water haul and/or a water-catchment system. With a 1000 square foot roof, you can gather about 6500 gallons per year with the water-catchment system, even with the little precipitation that this area experiences each year.

Power here is best attained through the use of Solar panels (almost 300 days of sunshine per year in the Valley!). There are power lines about 1/4 mile to the north. Summer temperatures are moderate on this high desert land, which rests at an elevation of about 7,600 feet above sea level. Winters are cold but there are not enormous amounts of snow in the Valley as there are up in the mountains.
